Welcome to St. Simon!

During the shelter in place order we want to assure you that the prayers and thoughts and support from our Pastoral staff are with you.  We will continue to keep parishioners updated with current activities of the Parish through the Parish on line Bulletin, Website, Facebook, and Fr. Warwick’s Electronic Newsletter.   

We encourage parishioners to remain connected to the parish community and pray for each other. If you do not currently receive Fr. Warwick's newsletter and have and email address to share with us please call 967-8311, or email rectory@stsimon.org and leave it with us.

We will be offering Sunday Mass online throughout the shelter in place order.  Our link to join Mass is:   St. Simon Presentations
We will use this same link each week.  Live steaming will happen at 5:00 PM on Saturday, and the video will be available all weekend after that.  You may also get to the Mass by going to YouTube and search "St. Simon Presentations".  There you will find the video that you can start anytime.  

Bulletin Special Edition

Here is a special edition of the Holy Week Bulletin produced by JS Paulach, or bulletin editior.  Special Holy Week Bulletin.pdf   It includes prayres, readings for Holy Week, Ways to celebrate at home, activities for the Children and a Palm Sunday reflection.  

Reconciliation.    If you or a loved one is in need of the Sacrament of Reconciliation please call the Rectory (650) 967-8311 and arrange a time to visit with a priest for the Sacrament. We will follow all guidelines for social distancing and other precautions during the appointment. 

Holy Communion.  For those wishing to receive Holy Communion, please call the rectory and arrange a time for apriest to meet you to give you the Sacrament. Please use a hand sanitizer immediately before the priest places the Body of Christ in your hand.

Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Anointing.  We are following the guidelines of the Diocese of San Jose and the local shelter in place requirement of our local hospital and facilities.  If you have someone needing these Sacraments, please call the rectory at the number above and arrange a mutually suitable time.

Many of you have reached out to me about financial support and how you can get your offertory envelopes to us.  Although you could mail it to our office, which we will appreciate, we ask that you consider giving online.  We need your financial support now more than ever.  The online donation system that we use is safe, secure and convenient.  You can use credit cards, debit cards, or direct transfer from your bank account.  Please click St. Simon Online Giving then click to set up a new account and start your donation now.

If you are unable to leave your home for reasons of age or health, please call the parish if you need a parishioner volunteer to go to the store for you.  We have several members of the community willing to offer their help.  Please call 650-967-8311, Ext 17 or email rectory@stsimon.org
