Our annual Rummage Sale event is not only community building, but it is also one of our largest parish outreach activities. People of all ages work together to put this on, and work for the good of our parish community, the wider community and the many charities we support. Participating in the Rummage Sale is a fun, great way to make friends while helping to serve the community.

Be prepared for an evening of spooky-fun with families of St. Simon Parish and School. Our Parish Center is transformed into a Halloween festival of fun, with our very own haunted house, games for the children, beverages and snacks to enjoy, and decorations to put you in the Halloween spirit.

Festival of Lights Parade

An annual tradition that continues to glow! Our own St. Simon angel float has been a part of this holiday parade for several years. An angel overlooking the nativity scene brightly shines, followed by our St. Simon School cheerleaders - reflecting brightly on the community. Keep the tradition going with your support in prep work, maintenance and day-of assistance.
Advent Wreath Making Event

Join fellow parish families during one of the most special Catholic traditions of the church - making an Advent Wreath and having it blessed. We always need help for set up, organizing supplies, and helping families assembling their wreath. It is a wonderful way to start the Advent Season!

We hope you'll join us for "An Evening in Paris," as ONE community supporting various ministries of St. Simon, as well as the greater community. An exciting evening of bidding on fabulous items during our silent and live auctions, with dinner and dancing as well!

The Parish Center transforms into a sea of green with Irish dancers, a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage (cooked by the Men's Group), and of course a wee Irish bar! Leprechauns are always needed to help with decorations, set-up, serving and clean-up! Everyone is a little Irish on St. Paddy's Day!
Easter Vigil Reception

What a magical night this is for our newest members of our parish, with a beautiful reception immediately following the Easter Vigil Mass. This special champagne and appetizer reception is for our RCIA candidates, celebrating their sacraments of initiation and joining our parish, as well as all our St. Simon community! Join us as we congratulate and welcome these new parishioners.

One of the parish favorites! Who doesn't LOVE a fresh donut after a morning Mass? Once a month, our Spooncer Hall turns into a "Room for Fellowship". After each of our Masses on the dates listed below, our parishioners get an opportunity to enjoy a treat and beverage while mingling with friends and family.

Young-at-Heart Senior Luncheons

The "Young at Heart" meets the 1st Tuesday of each month starting in September and meeting through May. We begin with Mass at 11:30am, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by our dedicated volunteers. All are welcome to join us in the Simon Room following Mass. Donation $5.00, if able.

The St. Simon Cash Calendar is designed to create the largest amount of fundraising dollars with the smallest amount of effort. Our cash calendar is a raffle! Tickets are sold at $10 each, or in booklets of 15 ($150) and are available to purchase in our parish and school offices. Buy your tickets today. You could be our next winner!
