Prayer Support Group

"Are any among you suffering?  They should pray.  Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise.  Are any among you sick?  They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord...pray for one another, so that you may be healed.  The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective."James 5: 13:14,16

Our belief in the power and effectiveness of prayer is central to our faith.  Parishioners seeking prayer for themselves or for others should contact the rectory. If you seek the support of our community to pray on your behalf, please contact Doris DeFranco and ask to have your name published in the weekly bulletin.  We will hold your name in prayer until you ask that we remove your name from the "prayer corner" of the bulletin.  Because of privacy laws we may publish names only if we are given permission directly from the individaul.  Please be sure to call the rectory office to request prayers, even if you do not want the request to be made public.  These requests are kept confidential by the Pastoral Staff.

For the Sacrament of Anointing please contact a parish priest.

Mass Intention requests can be made by contacting the Rectory Office.

For Prayer or Mass Intention requests, please contact the Rectory Office at 650-967-8311, or email rectory@stsimon.org
