Scouting

St. Simon Parish is home to nearly 200 active Catholic Scouts. We charter Cub Scout Pack 103 and Boy Scout Troop 103, and we have six active Girl Scout Troops from Kindergarten to Grade 5. These scouts, along with participating CCM Scouts from neighboring schools, actively earn Catholic medals and patches.

Scouting is a marvelous way for the youth of our parish to be involved in their community. Our Scout program routinely supports a variety of parish and community charitable organizations, including St. Vincent de Paul, Sunnyvale Community Services, and HOPE.

The Catholic Scouting program at St. Simon is strong in catechesis, ministry, and service. Our scouts celebrate yearly Scout Mass, host Donut Sundays and Lenten Soup Nights, and participate in the beautification of our parish grounds.

Please visit our Scouting NewsBoard in Spooncer Hall for updated information and activities regarding Catholic Scouting. For information on any of our programs, please refer to the contact information at right.
